Overview

Rainbow Engineering Costing is a multitenant application for engineering and manufacturing companies. Each company keeps its own parts, process routing, line items, standard cost, margin-based selling price, and revision history. An approved sheet can be printed as a PDF that carries the company name and logo.

Features

• Cost calculation

  A cost sheet belongs to one part and totals standard cost from material, bought-out items, labour, machine, subcontracting, consumables, power, factory overhead, rejection or scrap, and packing. Selling price is that standard cost plus the desired margin, and the sheet shows the split on a cost-breakdown chart.

• Master data

  Materials, machines, bought-out items, consumables, overhead, processes, and parts are stored per company. Each list can be exported to PDF or Excel, and a row can be added, viewed, edited, deleted, or deactivated.

• Sheet register

  The cost sheet list shows each part's current revision, status, and last update, and it can be searched or filtered to draft, approved, or archived. An admin starts a new sheet from this screen. One part has one cost sheet.
